Two crimson codes from Berat to be exposed in Sofia during XXII International Congress of Byzantine Studies

Sofia. Two crimson codes from Tirana, dated back to the VI and IX century, will be exposed during the exposition themed ‘The Brilliance of Byzantium. Greek Illuminated Manuscripts from the Balkans VI –XVIII’ held in the frames of the XXII International Congress of Byzantine Studies, which will be held in Sofia in August, said Professor Aksiniya Dzhurova, co-chairperson of the Organisational Committee of the XXII International Congress of Byzantine Studies and chairperson of the Elena and Ivan Duychevi Foundation, in an interview with FOCUS News Agency. The two crimson codes (Beratinus I and Beratinus II) were found after the WWII in Berat and have been restored in China. From Focus.
