As some of you may know I am a bit of a podcast fan. I listen to a number from the BBC and of course the excellent weekly podcast on the History of Rome by Mike Duncan. All free and available from podcast sites or iTunes. It is the medium of audio that I like which is probably why I am such a Radio 4 addict.
I recently came across the Librivox site that has free audiobooks. Most are now in the public domain and the readings are from volunteers. The site is worth a visit and if you are clever you can probably download to your iPod. There are books for all. How about the whole of Gibbon’s ‘Decline and Fall‘? You can search their catalogue here.
